Women's Day in The Courtyard Freebies!!!

On Wednesday I posted about this fun event happening at Yonge and Dundas Square in Toronto called 'Women's Day in the Courtyard'. This event showcases a bunch of different vendors, and they're mostly giving out freebies! Tons of fun contests and giveaways. Look below to see what I managed to grab. :) (*BTW. I was with others and they gave me their extra samples. I also met this nice lady who gave me some of her samples because she said she wouldn't use them.)

Teriyaki Experience had a wheel to spin and win food prizes! I got a coupon for a FREE meal; Teriyaki Experience also gave out some pens. There were also some food giveaways: O.N.E. Coconut Water, Breton Popped! Chips, and Mike & Ike candies.

There were also lots of fun coupons given away! $1.00 off O.N.E. Coconut Water, $3.00 off Dr. Scholl's, and various $1.00 off Almond milk products. 

A bunch of other random items were given away in a gift bag. Aerie was giving out their tote bags and their loyalty card, and Car2go was giving out free registration for their car service.

Lots of fun John Frieda samples! Mostly items for anti-frizz, and other items for repairing dry hair.

Schick Hydro Silk was also at the event giving away disposable razors. They seem to be at lots of events and malls lately promoting this product!

Hopefully others were able to make it to this event! It was an event for women, but there were some offerings for men of course. :) If you didn't make it to Women's Day in the Courtyard this year, they'll be back next year.

CNE Freebies!

Have you been to Canada's National Exhibition in Toronto before? If not, read more about it here!  If you do decide that you are interested, if you visit Monday to Thursday after 5pm, tickets only cost $5.00 at the gates!!! 

Yesterday I went to the CNE at 4:30pm and waited at the gates. The line was not long at all at this time, but just 15 minutes later and there was a line. After buying some foods to eat, and going into the shopping areas, I found a bunch of freebies!

I'm really glad to have gotten the Lysol Fabric Mist as I've been wondering how well it works! 

I had a lot of fun at the CNE, I stayed from 5pm until closing time at 10pm. Lots of fun things to do, eat, and enjoy. :)

FREE ICE-CREAM (August 14-25)

Primus has an ice-cream truck going out the GTA and Hamilton to give out FREE ice-cream cones! Primus has hinted on their Twitter page that they will be in Hamilton tomorrow at 6:00pm. The exact location hasn't been mentioned yet, so follow their Twitter feed to know the exact details.

So far the Primus ice-cream truck has been to areas such as Newmarket, Aurora, Vaughn, Brampton, Maple, and more!

It was my birthday on Wednesday August 7! A few weeks before my birthday, I saw a post on Redflagdeals that lists a bunch of places where you can grab a freebie on your birthday. I decided to sign up for a bunch of newsletters, or just go into the store. 

Here is a list of my birthday freebies:

Mmmuffins: Any muffin free when you sign up for their newsletter (not just for your birthday). I think you also get something free for birthdays, but I signed up too soon before my birthday. Once you sign up for their newsletter, they will email you a coupon for a free muffin.

Mary Brown's: Sign up for Mary Brown's, fill in your information, and they will send you an email a few days before your birthday for a free Big Mary Sandwich, or Two Piece Snack! I redeemed my coupon for a Big Mary Sandwich with Jamaican Sauce!

The cost of the Big Mary Sandwich alone would have been $5.59 before taxes!

What A Bagel!: No need to sign up for any newsletters for What A Bagel!, just show up to any of their store locations, show your ID, and you get to pick 12 bagels for free. Such amazing staff at What A Bagel! Definitely the place to go for your bagel needs. :)

Downtown Toronto Freebies!!! Kellogg's, Pepsi, Ice Breakers, Marc Jabobs, and more!!!

Today while showing my brother around downtown Toronto with my significant other, we found so many goodies!

(Timothy's World Coffee had a tent at City Hall today to give away iced coffees!! PLUS Nestea was also giving out some bottles of their product. Both will be back tomorrow!! Remember to go check it out if you are in the area as they will be full sized samples! I didn't manage to get any from these two companies because they were closing up around 2pm).

Check out the Pepsi Taste Test on Queen Street West and Beverly Street for this pop-up store where you can blindly taste test Coca Cola versus Pepsi to see which one you prefer! Afterwards you can get a coupon for a free 591mL Mountain Dew or Diet Mountain Dew, OR free can of Pepsi (Max, Regular, or Diet), OR a chance at winning a t-shirt printed with your choice of Pepsi design!!!

Afterwards we walked back to Yonge and Dundas Street where there were people walking around handing out Icebreakers Duo Mints and Jolly Ranchers Crunch and Chew candies. 

The promotional team for Kellogg's Krave cereal are in front of the Adidas store handing out small boxes of their Krave double chocolate cereal; there is also a $0.75 coupon on the back of the box for any Kellogg's Krave cereal (312-323g) which expires June 30, 2014!!!!

After Yonge and Dundas Street, we walked up Yonge Street to see Marc Jacobs promoting their new eau de parfum! The Honey Marc Jacobs smells amazing, definitely a great sample to throw in my purse.

The Honey Marc Jacobs truck was also giving out vanilla soft served ice-cream cones!! I was going to go buy ice-cream anyway, but this was a nice treat. Despite being a bit windy today, my ice-cream still managed to start melting pretty quickly!

(BTW. Cody Simpson will be at the HMV across the street from the Honey Marc Jacobs truck, maybe some of you will see him if you're in the area!)

I also saw Oasis setting up their tent at Yonge and Dundas to give away juice (not sure about specifics), but they should be done setting up by later tonight. There seems to be other tents also setting up for tonight as well. Enjoy!! :)
